About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ Retail Banking, you will provide customers with a seamless banking experience, addressing their end‑to‑end financial needs and promoting digital solutions. You will work primarily in the branch, delivering high‑quality service and acting as a role model for your peers.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy.
  • Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a peer coach.

Required profile

  • Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
  • Experience using digital channels and promoting technology.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
