Banking Consultant – Part‑time (21 hrs/week)

About the role

The Banking Consultant role is based in an ANZ branch, delivering a seamless banking experience for customers. You will meet end‑to‑end financial needs, conduct needs‑based conversations, and educate clients on digital and other financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience across transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital education.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value.
• Participate actively in bank programs and initiatives.
• Take responsibility for ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
• Experience using and promoting technology, with familiarity in digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
