About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers across Melbourne. You will engage with clients to understand their financial needs, provide tailored advice, and promote ANZ’s digital and product solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end financial advice and transaction support in branch settings.
• Conduct needs‑based conversations and recommend appropriate products within your accreditation level.
• Maintain high standards of customer service to turn clients into strong advocates for ANZ.
• Support bank programs and initiatives that drive customer engagement.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ policies, branch procedures, and risk‑management requirements.
• Participate in rostered Saturday shifts as needed to meet branch operating hours.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with retail banking experience.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and act as a peer coach.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to changing banking environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of banking transactions and product accreditation.
• Understanding of risk and compliance standards in a retail banking context.
