Banking Consultant, Hornsby

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Banking Consultant for its Retail Banking division in Hornsby, NSW (ground floor, 19 Hunter Street). The role is based mainly in the branch and is a casual position with 16 hours of work. You will help customers meet their end-to-end financial needs and goals, from transaction activities to needs-based conversations, and educate them on the financial solutions available, including digital ones.

Key responsibilities

• Complete customer transactions and hold in-depth needs-based conversations within your accreditation level.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service so customers become strong advocates of ANZ.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team.
• Contribute to higher customer engagement and advocacy and create real customer value.
• Support bank programs and initiatives.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and comply with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Ideally retail experience; a growth mindset is valued.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team.
• Sound understanding of compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of digital channels is an advantage.
