Banking Consultant – Gold Coast (Japanese preferred)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division on the Gold Coast, you will deliver seamless banking experiences, meeting customers’ financial needs through transactions, advisory conversations and digital solutions. You will work primarily in branch environments, providing high‑quality service and acting as a role model for peers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and advocacy by delivering tailored financial solutions.
• Support and participate in bank programmes and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
• Provide peer coaching and uphold high standards of customer service.
• Contribute to branch operating hours, including rostered Saturday shifts.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Japanese language capability is preferred.
• Proficiency with digital banking channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work collaboratively.
• Sound understanding of compliance and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible rostered shifts.
