Banking Consultant – Customer Service & Sales

About the role

The Banking Consultant will deliver high‑quality sales and service to customers in Mt Gravatt, combining face‑to‑face interaction with inbound and outbound calls. You will handle everyday banking enquiries, support account openings and guide customers through digital banking tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer‑obsessed service that drives satisfaction and first‑call resolution.
• Answer everyday banking enquiries and process account openings via phone or online channels.
• Educate and support customers in using digital banking platforms, encouraging self‑service.
• Facilitate digital onboarding to ensure a seamless experience for new clients.
• Listen actively, build trust, and ask the right questions to exceed expectations and improve NPS.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, privacy legislation and underwriting guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering high‑quality customer service in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle both face‑to‑face and telephone interactions.
• Ability to balance customer needs with risk and performance objectives.
