Banking Consultant – Customer-Focused Role

About the role

Join ANZ as a Banking Consultant in Perth, delivering a seamless branch experience that meets each customer’s end‑to‑end financial needs. You will guide customers through transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital solutions, helping them achieve their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience, handling transactions and advising on digital banking solutions.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to ensure the best possible customer experience.
• Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, with retail experience considered an advantage.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology, especially digital banking channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
