Banking Consultant – Charters Towers

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience for customers, addressing their end‑to‑end financial needs and goals. You will engage in needs‑based conversations, promote digital solutions, and act as a role model and peer coach within the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value.
• Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
• Take responsibility to ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
• Experience using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
