Banking Consultant – Casual (Singleton & Maitland, NSW)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will provide customers with a seamless banking experience, meeting their end‑to‑end financial needs and goals through transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital education. You will work primarily in branch settings, delivering high‑standard service that turns customers into strong advocates for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value.
• Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
• Take responsibility to ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus – retail experience is an advantage.
• Experience using and promoting technology, with working knowledge of various digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
