Banking Consultant – Burwood

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, helping customers meet their end‑to‑end financial needs and guiding them toward digital solutions. You will work primarily in the Burwood branch, acting as a role model and peer coach to ensure high‑quality service and strong customer advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a smooth branch experience, handling transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital education.
• Collaborate with team members and act as a peer coach to elevate the customer experience.
• Drive increased customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus; retail experience is an advantage.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology, with experience across digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to learn, coach peers and uphold ANZ’s Customer Promises.
