Banking Consultant, Broadmeadows

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Banking Consultant for its Retail Banking team in Broadmeadows (1099 Pascoe Vale Road, 3047). The role is based mainly in branches and delivers a high standard of customer service, helping customers meet their end-to-end financial needs and goals through transactions, needs-based conversations and education on financial solutions, including digital ones. It is a casual position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting their banking needs across transactions, needs-based conversations and digital solutions.
• Complete customer transactions and fulfil products according to your accreditation level.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver the best customer experience.
• Support bank programs and initiatives and contribute to higher customer engagement and advocacy.
• Know your customer from a risk perspective and comply with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Ideally retail experience; a growth mindset is valued, so you do not need all listed attributes.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Exceptional customer focus; working knowledge of digital channels is an advantage.
• Sound understanding of compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
