Banking Consultant – Belconnen, ACT

About the role

The Banking Consultant role is based in the Belconnen branch and focuses on delivering a seamless banking experience to customers. You will meet each client’s end‑to‑end financial needs, provide advice, and promote digital banking solutions while ensuring compliance and risk standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a smooth branch experience, handling transactions and needs‑based conversations.
• Educate clients on digital banking channels and promote appropriate financial solutions.
• Act as a peer coach and role model within a collaborative team environment.
• Drive higher customer engagement and advocacy, creating real value for clients.
• Support bank programmes and initiatives, contributing to branch goals.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of customers from a risk perspective and ensure compliance with ANZ policies.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in ambiguous situations.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
