Azure Cloud Data Platform Engineer

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our data platform team immediately. You will work on building and optimizing data pipelines on Azure Databricks, delivering scalable solutions for our analytics and reporting needs.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data processing workflows using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
- Implement Spark Structured Streaming jobs for real‑time data ingestion.
- Manage data models, ensure data quality, and optimize SQL queries.
- Collaborate with business analysts to integrate Power BI dashboards where required.
- Maintain Unity Catalog governance and security policies.
Required profile
- Immediate availability to start.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark notebooks, Spark SQL, and Unity Catalog.
- Proven expertise in Spark Structured Streaming.
- Solid data modelling background and advanced SQL skills.
- Optional experience in Power BI development is a plus.
