About the role
MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is looking for a Permanent Part-Time Aviation Protection Officer to work at Moranbah Airport. The officer plays a vital role in keeping passengers, staff and airport operations safe and secure.
Key responsibilities
- Screen passengers, staff and visitors to ensure airport security
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment
- Conduct passenger screening, bag searches and security checks when required
- Patrol the airport and report any security risks or suspicious activity
Required profile
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid driver's licence
- Valid QLD Security Licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to pass a medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing
- 24/7 availability required
