Auditor – Stores & Hotels

About the role

Join Endeavour’s Internal Audit team as an Auditor focused on stores and hotels. Based in Sydney with a hybrid work model, you will help protect and improve operations across a portfolio that includes Dan Murphy’s, BWS, ALH Hotels and more.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audits of stores and hotels, assessing operational control risks.
• Interpret complex operational data to uncover insights and identify root causes of control breakdowns.
• Prepare clear audit reports and contribute to quarterly executive reporting.
• Follow up on audit observations to ensure agreed action plans are implemented.
• Recommend and support continuous improvements to audit methodologies and tools.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Internal Audit, building collaborative relationships across all management levels.
• Stay informed on broader business initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in retail or hospitality management, or an operational support role.
• Willingness to travel intra‑ and interstate for at least one week per month.
• Proven ability to interpret data, evaluate risk, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, curious and able to deliver high‑quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of commercial operational processes.
