Audit Senior – Advisory

About the role

William Buck’s growing Audit and Advisory division is looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join a young, dynamic team. You will work closely with Audit Managers and Partners, engaging with a diverse client portfolio that includes owner‑managed businesses, ASX‑listed entities, large proprietary companies and not‑for‑profits.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Audit Managers and Partners across all phases of audit engagements.
• Liaise directly with a broad range of clients on audit matters.
• Evaluate and document the control environment and internal controls.
• Review and prepare financial reports in line with relevant reporting frameworks.
• Prepare audit reports and contribute to the training of junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of audit advisory experience.
• Relevant university degree; CA, ACA or ACCA qualifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local and international audit standards, including IFRS.
• Ability to manage a busy workload with a client‑service focus.
• Effective at gaining cooperation from stakeholders to complete tasks.
