Audit Manager - Technology and Information Security

About the role

The Technology & Information Security Centre of Audit at ANZ delivers independent assurance over the Group’s technology, cyber security and information security environment. Reporting to the Audit Director, the Audit Manager leads and executes high‑risk, enterprise‑wide audits and provides specialist risk expertise to audit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver technology and information security audit engagements within agreed timelines and scope.
• Apply internal audit methodology, global standards and relevant risk frameworks to produce evidence‑based findings.
• Use data analytics, automation and audit tools to enhance testing and analysis.
• Engage with business, technology and risk stakeholders, escalating issues promptly and supporting a positive speak‑up culture.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of audit methodology, evidence standards and reporting for technology and information security assurance.
• Working knowledge of technology risk, cyber security, information security governance and operational resilience.
• Experience contributing to technology, cyber security or information security audit activities.
• Ability to work professionally with stakeholders and follow a strong speak‑up culture.
