Audit Manager – Commodities Trading

About the role

KPMG is seeking an Audit Manager with deep experience in the commodities trading sector. You will work on large, publicly listed clients, applying your knowledge of financial services and commodity markets to deliver high‑quality audit and assurance engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and perform audit procedures to obtain sufficient audit evidence in line with professional standards.
• Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Execute assurance‑related engagements and support business development activities.
• Provide inspirational leadership to audit teams, fostering talent development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prestigious audit clients.

Required profile

• Prior experience within the commodities trading sector (gas, power, emissions, agriculture, oil, metals) is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial, operational and regulatory considerations in commodity markets.
• Proven track record of high performance and success.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Demonstrated team leadership abilities.
