Audit Associate / Senior Associate – Australia

About the role

Join EY’s audit team in Australia as an Associate or Senior Associate, working with the data transformation team to develop innovative, digital audit solutions. You will help automate audit stages, allowing deeper client engagement and consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate audits, considering audit risk and ensuring compliance with policies and protocols.
• Execute audit processes with a solid understanding of the client’s operating environment.

Required profile

• Experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
• Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of accounting frameworks (IFRS) and related financial reporting matters.
• A degree and/or progress towards or completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, providing value‑added recommendations.
