Assurance Manager

About the role

Amentum is hiring an Assurance Manager in Adelaide. The role performs and coordinates all assurance and audit activities across a project or designated area, providing independent oversight of governance, processes, controls and compliance requirements to ensure effective project delivery and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute assurance reviews and audits in line with the approved assurance framework.
• Assess compliance with project governance, policies, procedures and standards.
• Identify, document and communicate audit findings, observations, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare assurance reports and present outcomes to project leadership and governance forums.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions to close audit findings and recommendations.
• Maintain assurance schedules, registers and records.
• Advise on the effectiveness of project controls, governance processes and risk management.
• Support the development and improvement of assurance methodologies, tools and processes.
• Work with project teams and stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and accountability.

Required profile

• Experience in assurance, audit, governance, risk management, compliance or project management.
• Strong understanding of assurance and audit principles in a project or program environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance.
• Required security clearance level: NV1.

The position is based in Adelaide with 40 weekly hours.
