Associate Partner Solution Architect – Microsoft Cyber Security

About the role

EY is seeking a senior cyber security leader to shape, sell and deliver Microsoft‑based cyber transformation programmes. The role sits at the intersection of cyber strategy, Microsoft platform depth, alliance growth and executive client impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex cyber security transformation initiatives using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Entra ID, Purview, Intune, Azure and Copilot for Security.
• Design secure‑by‑default architectures that translate client risk, regulatory and business requirements into reference patterns and implementation roadmaps.
• Grow the EY‑Microsoft alliance by originating opportunities, building joint go‑to‑market propositions and converting relationships into pipeline and revenue.
• Advise senior cyber and technology stakeholders on risk, resilience, operating model choices and investment trade‑offs.
• Drive security operations modernisation, including SOC transformation, SIEM migration, detection engineering, threat hunting and AI‑enabled analyst workflows.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in cyber security architecture, cloud security and security operations.
• Proven track record designing and delivering Microsoft‑based security solutions for enterprise or regulated environments.
• Executive stakeholder experience with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs and other senior leaders.
• Ability to work in Australia and support clients across geographies.

Required skills

• Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure security services.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with ServiceNow SecOps, Azure DevOps, Logic Apps, Power Platform and AI‑enabled security workflows.
