Associate Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Join the AI Experience team at REA Group to build intelligent features that personalize property discovery for millions of users. You will work on recommendation and prediction models that power key experiences across web and app platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain recommendation and prediction models using deep learning, collaborative filtering, regression and decision trees.
• Develop and deploy ML pipelines for batch and real‑time use cases, integrating with recommendation engines and user decision flows.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to move prototypes to production and monitor model performance.

Required profile

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with machine learning, data science or software development through internships, coursework or early professional work.
• Strong communication skills, curiosity, problem‑solving mindset and enthusiasm for AI technologies.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn and PyTorch.
• Containerisation with Docker.
• Cloud platforms GCP or AWS.
