Associate Lawyer - Financial Services Regulatory

About the role
The role will see you working across a range of financial services clients, advising on regulatory issues across the sector and gaining exposure to a variety of interesting matters.
Key responsibilities
- Work across a broad range of financial services regulatory and advisory matters, including superannuation, funds management, banking, insurance, payments, fintech and AFSL licensing.
- Advise major financial services clients and emerging businesses on regulatory and strategic issues.
- Run matters with minimal supervision and develop client relationships.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years post‑qualification experience (PAE) in Financial Services Regulatory, obtained in a leading law firm or regulatory body.
- Proven experience advising on financial services regulatory matters with a solid understanding of the sector’s regulatory environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated interest in building client relationships and developing a legal practice.
