Associate Credit Analyst

About the role

Join QIC’s Liquid Markets Group in Brisbane as an Associate Credit Analyst and gain hands‑on exposure to Australian fixed income markets. You will work alongside experienced portfolio managers and credit specialists, contributing to research that informs real portfolio decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct credit research across corporate, financial and securitised debt issuers.
• Participate in debt investor presentations and engage with issuer management teams.
• Contribute to relative‑value analysis, credit investment recommendations and macro credit views.
• Integrate ESG considerations into investment research and decision‑making.
• Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and senior credit specialists.

Required profile

• Curious, analytical and motivated to build a career in Australian fixed income markets.
• Strong attention to detail, commercial judgement and a positive, self‑starting attitude.
• Genuine interest in credit, fixed income and liquid markets.

Required skills

• Experience in credit financial analysis or a similar analytical role.
• Strong Excel skills.
