About the role
Lead Cost Management commissions for large or complex construction projects, acting as the primary client interface to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end service delivery for cost management commissions, including feasibility studies, procurement reports and final cost plans.
- Lead tendering and procurement processes: pre‑qualification, tender list creation, preliminaries, pre‑tender estimates, analysis and contract documentation.
- Monitor margin levels, monthly fee/resource forecasts and produce post‑contract cost reports for clients.
- Handle post‑contract cost variances, change control, progress claim assessments and valuations on larger projects.
- Maintain governance processes and cascade Turner & Townsend cost management procedures to project teams.
Required profile
- Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- MRICS or AIQS qualification with 6‑11 years of consultancy experience in cost management for medium to large construction projects.
- Proven people‑management experience leading cost management teams.
- Strong understanding of the full project life‑cycle, procurement routes and value engineering.
