Associate Consultant – Procurement & Supply Chain (Graduate)

About the role

Proxima, part of Bain & Company, is launching an Accelerate Program for recent Australian university graduates. As an Associate Consultant you will join a fast‑growing procurement and supply‑chain practice, working on real client projects from day one and developing core consulting capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support client engagements in procurement strategy, spend analysis and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Conduct data analysis, build Excel models and prepare PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams to diagnose problems, design solutions and implement recommendations.
• Travel to client sites domestically and, when required, internationally.
• Participate in formal training, mentorship and on‑the‑job learning.

Required profile

• Recent Australian university graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
• No prior corporate work experience required.
• Strong interest in procurement, supply‑chain, consulting or business transformation.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation abilities.
• Eagerness to learn quickly, take ownership of your career and work with clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
