Assistant Venue Operations Manager - Country Club Tasmania

About the role

The Range at Country Club Tasmania is a venue offering a driving range, an 18-hole mini golf course, a clubhouse restaurant and event spaces. The Assistant Venue Operations Manager supports the Venue Operations Manager in creating a welcoming, fun atmosphere while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. The role suits a hospitality leader who enjoys welcoming guests and getting hands-on with the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team to deliver great service
• Support smooth day-to-day operations and keep the team on track during busy periods
• Help bring venue events and golf competitions to life
• Build positive guest connections and resolve concerns with care
• Support cost control and maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented venue

Required profile

• Hospitality management or similar experience, confident leading, coaching and supporting a team
• Guest-first approach, strong communication and professional resolution of concerns
• Understanding of venue operations such as rostering, cash handling, stock control and managing labour and operating costs
• Responsible Service of Alcohol, Responsible Conduct of Gaming, Keno and Senior Keno Writer competencies, and Working with Vulnerable People registration
