Assistant Venue Manager

About the role

Belles Hot Chicken Adelaide is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to support the Venue Manager in delivering high‑energy, high‑quality service at one of its busiest restaurants. This role is ideal for a proactive Duty Manager or team leader ready to step up and help shape the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead shifts, set the tone for service and ensure smooth floor operations.
• Coach, support and develop front‑of‑house team members.
• Manage bookings, walk‑ins and overall service flow.
• Assist with rostering, stock control, ordering and daily administrative tasks.
• Handle guest feedback confidently and maintain compliance standards.
• Step in for the Venue Manager when required and contribute improvement ideas.

Required profile

• 1–2 years experience in a senior hospitality role such as Duty Manager or team leader.
• Calm, confident presence in a fast‑paced environment.
• Genuine passion for guests, teams and hospitality.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Hands‑on attitude with natural leadership energy.
