Assistant Venue Manager – Conferences & Events

About the role

The Assistant Venue Manager (Conferences & Events) supports the delivery of exceptional conference and event experiences at Moxy. You will work closely with the food and beverage team and the wider crew to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, energetic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day conference and event services, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded.
• Oversee cleanliness and readiness of event spaces at all times.
• Supervise the food and beverage team in completing operational tasks.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive future bookings.
• Plan and execute team‑building activities to foster crew engagement.
• Assist with operational tasks related to conferences and events.

Required profile

• Current RSA certification.
• Relevant experience in a managerial role within hospitality.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• High energy, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a can‑do attitude.
