Assistant Store Manager (Mornington)

About the role

At Bailey Nelson we’re on a mission to change how people see the world and how the world sees them. We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help launch our brand‑new Mornington store in early October 2026, bringing energy, passion and a genuine love for the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense.
• Take ownership of the store two days a week, leading the team and driving performance.
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable.
• Coach and support the team to deliver great service every time.

Required profile

• Aligns with Bailey Nelson values – tight‑knit, down‑to‑earth and constantly improving.
• Retail or optics experience at a supervisor or management level.
• Confident leader who enjoys developing others.
• Passionate about creating great customer experiences and available to work full‑time on a Sunday‑to‑Thursday roster.
