Assistant Store Manager

About the role

At Bailey Nelson we’re on a mission to change how people see the world and how the world sees them. Due to exciting growth plans and an internal promotion, we’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Joondalup store, bringing energy, leadership and a genuine love for the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense.
• Take ownership of the store two days a week, leading the team and driving performance.
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable.
• Coach and support the team to deliver great service every time.

Required profile

• Aligns with our values of being tight‑knit, down‑to‑earth and constantly improving.
• Experience in retail or optics at a supervisor or management level.
• Confident leader who enjoys developing others.
• Passionate about creating great customer experiences.
• Available to work full‑time on a Sunday‑to‑Thursday roster.

What we offer

• On‑target earnings up to $85,000 including base salary, superannuation, monthly and annual bonuses, and profit sharing.
