Assistant Store Manager - BWS The Entrance & Long Jetty

About the role

BWS, the largest local bottle shop in Australia with over 1,450 stores and 10,000+ team members, is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for its multi-site store covering The Entrance and Long Jetty. The role centres on inspiring the store team through imaginative and empowering leadership, while promoting a customer-centric, safety-first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Empower, inspire and develop the team to achieve goals and perform at their best, using business programs and initiative
• Promote a customer-centric, safety-first culture with a continuous improvement mindset
• Complete and delegate daily tasks across inventory management, housekeeping and team leadership, with a focus on driving sales and achieving budgets
• Foster the best customer and team experience through strong people skills
• Identify and deliver on growth opportunities, business objectives and key performance indicators
• Uphold service of alcohol guidelines
• Tailor the store's presentation and activities to inspire customers and the local community
