Assistant Principal - K-6 Catholic Primary School

About the role

St Kevin's Catholic Primary School Eastwood, a Newman Selective School with 356 students, is recruiting an Assistant Principal for its K-6 level. The role leads teaching excellence, fosters staff development and builds a strong school community. It is a promotional appointment plus a full-time, permanent teaching position, open to internal and external candidates.

Required profile

• Postgraduate or Master's degree in Leadership, Religion, Theology or Education
• Experience leading school-wide Positive Behaviours for Learning practices
• Experience or qualifications as a Newman Coordinator or similar (desirable)
• Experience or qualifications in gifted education and EALD (desirable)
• Category E accreditation under the Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach and Lead, or agreement to meet it in the first contract term
• WWCC clearance required before starting, as the role involves child-related work
