About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in a high‑volume retail environment in Perth. This full‑time, permanent role offers a clear pathway to store management for a motivated retail professional.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a department and act as Duty Manager when required.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving KPIs such as sales, shrinkage, and wage control.
• Drive exceptional customer service and foster team engagement.
• Oversee stock control, merchandising, and compliance standards.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are consistently followed.
• Analyse store data to identify improvement and growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a fast‑paced retail setting.
• Hands‑on leader who thrives on the shop floor and motivates staff.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and meeting targets.
• Proactive attitude with ambition to progress to Store Manager.
