Assistant Manager – Diversified Industries (Bunbury)

About the role

The Assistant Manager partners with a Relationship Manager to support a portfolio of diversified industry customers. This permanent, full‑time position is based at ANZ’s Bunbury office and focuses on delivering excellent customer service, compliance, and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a well‑managed portfolio that complies with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Control workflows across compliance and customer fulfilment processes.
• Act in the best interest of customers, applying a customer‑centric approach.
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customers' business and financial needs.
• Provide appropriate solutions for account maintenance and simple customer requests.
• Support the management of diversified industry customer portfolios.
• Collaborate with product partners and other stakeholders to meet customer needs.
• Engage diversified teams when required.

Required profile

• Strong data analysis ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience in customer solutioning and understanding client needs.
• Knowledge of credit analysis, including assessment of the 5 Cs of credit.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end fulfilment processes.
• Proven relationship‑management skills.
• Capability to support credit approval activities.
• Effective stakeholder‑management experience.
