Assistant Manager – Business Banking (SME)

About the role

Join ANZ's Business & Private Bank in Adelaide as an Assistant Manager supporting a Relationship Manager. You will work with owners of small and medium enterprises, helping them grow by delivering tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each client’s business and financial needs.
• Provide suitable products and services, acting in the best interest of the customer.
• Manage a portfolio of SME customers, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Oversee workflow controls across compliance and customer fulfilment processes.
• Collaborate with product partners and internal stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in financial services or business banking, preferably with SME clients.
• Familiarity with risk‑management concepts and regulatory requirements such as KYC and AML.
• Customer‑centric mindset with strong analytical abilities.
