Assistant Educator

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Educator to join our 84‑place early childhood centre in Christies Beach. You will work in a safe, nurturing environment that values the wellbeing of both children and educators.

• Nurture young learners through playful learning and meaningful connections.
• Create engaging, curiosity‑sparking environments with natural light and age‑appropriate resources.
• Demonstrate kindness, creativity and a can‑do spirit each day.
• Communicate confidently with families and build lasting relationships.
• Contribute positive energy and a team‑first attitude in every room.
• Guide children to develop a lifelong love of learning.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA‑recognised equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Warm, professional presence and genuine passion for early learning.
• Confidence connecting with children, families and the community.
• Two professional references, one from a manager or supervisor in childcare or education.
