Assistant Educator

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Educator to join our 100‑place centre at Eden Academy. You will support the learning and wellbeing of children in a safe, nurturing environment that values play‑based education.

Key responsibilities

• Guide children through playful learning experiences and meaningful connections.
• Create engaging, curiosity‑sparking environments using natural play spaces and age‑appropriate resources.
• Communicate confidently with families and build lasting relationships.
• Contribute a positive, team‑first attitude in every classroom.
• Support the development of a lifelong love of learning in each child.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an ACECQA‑recognised equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Warm, professional presence and genuine passion for early learning.
• Two professional references, one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting.
