Assistant Educator (Float) – Early Childhood

About the role

Eden Academy Wooloowin is seeking a passionate Float Educator to support our 120‑place early learning centre. You will join a child‑safe, family‑focused environment where educators are valued and children thrive through play‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and education to children across multiple rooms as needed.
• Create engaging, curiosity‑driving learning environments.
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe, nurturing setting.
• Model kindness, creativity, and a can‑do attitude daily.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA‑recognised equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Warm, professional presence with a genuine passion for early learning.
• Two professional references, one from a manager or supervisor in childcare or education.

Required skills

• Ability to connect confidently with children, families, and the community.
