Assistant Coordinator – OSHC (Geebung)

About the role

Join St. Kevin’s OSHC as an Assistant Coordinator supporting a vibrant out‑of‑school‑hours care programme for up to 120 children. You will work alongside an experienced coordinator and a regional manager to create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for children before school, after school and during vacations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Coordinator with day‑to‑day operations, including program planning, delivery and documentation.
• Prepare staff rosters, supervise team members and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Deliver a high‑quality, inclusive educational program that meets the National Quality Framework.
• Provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for all children.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
• Act as the Responsible Person on site when the Coordinator is absent.

Required profile

• Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience in education and care of children in a similar role.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
• Child Protection Training.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and relevant legislation.

Required skills

• Experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
