Assistant Coordinator – OSHC (Geebung)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Coordinator to join our vibrant Out‑of‑School‑Hours Care (OSHC) team at St. Kevin’s in Geebung. You will support the daily operations of a licensed service for 120 children, delivering high‑quality before‑school, after‑school and vacation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Coordinator with day‑to‑day service operations, including program planning, delivery and documentation.
• Prepare staff rosters, supervise staff and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Deliver an inclusive, educational programme that meets the National Quality Framework.
• Provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for all children.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
• Act as the Responsible Person on site when the Coordinator is absent.

Required profile

• Diploma in Children Services or ACECQA‑equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar education‑and‑care role.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Child Protection Training is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and relevant legislation.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills with experience using childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
