Assistant Accountant

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process journal entries for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts reconciliation.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in an accounting or finance position.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or currently studying towards completion.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
