Area Manager - Workplace Health

About the role

The Area Manager provides results-focused leadership to a multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health professionals, building the team and leading by example while delivering exceptional client care and quality return-to-work outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise key business activities (customer, employee, operational, financial) to achieve targets
• Develop and sustain positive customer relationships
• Ensure services are timely, accurate and meet legislative, customer SLA and Konekt standards
• Achieve revenue and profit targets and sustain business growth
• Grow the team and develop team members to optimise performance and engagement

Required profile

• Occupational/Workplace Rehabilitation or injury management experience with a strong customer focus
• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology; Social Workers, Rehabilitation Counsellors or Psychologists may also be considered
• Registration with AHPRA, ESSA (as an EP), ASORC or AASW
• Preferred but not essential: leadership experience

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of workers' compensation legislation and case management
• Commercial acumen and understanding of key business drivers
• Energetic, positive and motivated approach to leadership
