About the role
Kick start your painting career with Australia's leading painting and maintenance contractor. Join Higgins Coatings' Mackay team as an Apprentice Painter, suitable for 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentices.
Key responsibilities
- Assist on commercial painting projects such as high‑rise buildings, schools and retirement villages.
- Learn all facets of painting across different project sites.
Required profile
- Completing or intending to start a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating.
- Driven to succeed with a willingness to learn.
- Motivated and enthusiastic approach to learning.
- Team‑oriented, curious and inquisitive.
- Ability to follow directions with excellent attention to detail.
- Good listening skills, receptive to feedback and able to understand customer requirements.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
