Apprentice Chef

About the role

Join RAC Karri Valley Resort as an Apprentice Chef and gain hands‑on experience in a busy Lakeside Restaurant while completing a nationally recognised qualification through South Regional TAFE – Margaret River.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
• Support menu preparation, stock control and inventory management.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene.
• Follow recipes and procedures to ensure quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Successful completion of Year 10 or higher.
• Genuine passion for cooking and hospitality with a positive attitude.
• Legal eligibility to work and study in Australia and a current driver’s licence.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced commercial kitchen environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
