Apprentice Boilermaker

About the role

Linkforce, a privately owned contractor delivering shutdown, maintenance and project services to mining, infrastructure, energy and defence clients, is looking for an Apprentice Boilermaker to join its fabrication team. The position is initially based at the Jandakot Workshop and will move to new premises in Hazelmere early 2027. As an apprentice you will work alongside and assist qualified boilermakers to learn all aspects of the heavy metal fabrication trade.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in steel works and fabrication
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a team environment
• Able to work with exposure to noise, machinery, heat and variable conditions
• Perth-based resident with your own transport to and from the workshop
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol screens
• A pre-apprenticeship course is highly regarded
