About the role

The Applications Support Intermediate Analyst will join Citi Technology Support to ensure 24x7 availability of critical applications. The role involves troubleshooting, incident management and building tools to improve support operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with development, infrastructure and business teams to meet service level agreements.
  • Manage and resolve production issues, communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Perform change management, deployment, incident and problem management activities.
  • Drive capacity planning, resiliency, fail‑over and monitoring enhancements.
  • Create and maintain a knowledge base and support special project initiatives.

Required profile

  • Strong multi‑tasking ability in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Proactive, well‑organized and comfortable communicating with technical and business users at all levels.

Required skills

  • RESTful and SOAP API troubleshooting (Postman, cURL, browser dev tools).
  • Web server configuration, HTTP/HTTPS status codes, SSL/TLS, mTLS, CORS, WAF.
  • Enterprise RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL/Caching (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
  • Linux/Unix CLI navigation.
  • Application server administration (Apache Tomcat, Jetty, IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic).
  • Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or private cloud (Red Hat OpenShift).
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Harness).
  • ITRS Geneos monitoring suite (Active Console, Gateways, Netprobes, Data‑views, Samplers).
