Application Support Officer – Level 1 & 2 (APS4)

About the role

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is seeking an Application Support Officer to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for key agency applications. You will work autonomously within a flexible, inclusive environment, helping to protect consumers and promote competition.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for agency applications such as CRM, IRM, SharePoint and ServiceNow.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and fulfil service requests in line with ITIL processes and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with the Information Management and Technology Services Branch to maintain system availability and performance.
• Document resolutions, create knowledge‑base articles and contribute to continuous improvement of support procedures.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast‑changing environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear communication skills.
• Willingness to support flexible work arrangements across Australian capital cities or Townsville.

Required skills

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
• Familiarity with Information Management (IRM) systems.
• Proficiency in SharePoint administration.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow incident and request management.
• Understanding of ITIL principles for service delivery.
