Application Billing Specialist – Healthcare (iPM & webPAS)

About the role

Join Dedalus as an Application Billing Specialist focusing on healthcare billing solutions. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for hospital billing within the Professional Services PAS team, supporting both iPM and webPAS applications in Melbourne/Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and configure hospital health‑fund agreements in iPM and webPAS billing modules.
• Format, validate and load billing reference data such as MBS fee schedules and prosthetics schedules.
• Contribute to implementation planning studies and deliver billing components for iPM/webPAS projects.
• Provide configuration expertise and process guidance to customers during projects and consulting engagements.
• Investigate, document and help resolve software issues during delivery and hyper‑care phases.
• Deliver training on hospital billing functionality and health‑fund contract management.
• Collaborate with product, development, support and professional services teams to improve the product.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hospital billing, patient administration or healthcare information systems, preferably in private healthcare.
• Proven experience with invoicing, receipting, Medicare and ECLIPSE claiming, health‑fund billing and contract management.
• Ability to interpret provider agreements and translate contractual requirements into system configurations and billing rules.
• Experience managing billing‑related datasets.
