Appian Lead Consultant – Melbourne/Sydney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Appian Lead Consultant to drive transformative technology strategies for our clients in Melbourne and Sydney. The role involves leading the design, development and deployment of Appian‑based solutions while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of Appian applications, including analysis, design, development and deployment.
• Conduct solution demonstrations, proof‑of‑concept workshops and provide effort estimates aligned with client budgets.
• Guide and coach development teams, troubleshoot issues and ensure best‑practice implementation.
• Collaborate with Appian Customer Success Managers and support pre‑sales activities such as scoping and client presentations.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of client‑facing experience in Appian application development.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Appian certification(s) and a commitment to continuous learning.

Required skills

• Appian low‑code platform and BPM development.
• Java programming for custom Appian components.
• Appian connectors, web services and data integration.
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, EAI and enterprise architecture concepts.
